PROJECT

My aim is to create a company that makes eco-friendly paper products. In Ethiopia, paper bags have varied uses and purposes. One can find them in almost every stores and outlets. The benefits of manufacturing and using paper bags is that they are easy to make, cheap and recyclable. In Ethiopia, the government aims to reduce plastic usage which will eventually lead to an increased demand for paper bags.

MOTIVATION FOR AND COMMITMENT TO CREATING A BETTER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE PLANET

My passion for the environment led me to conducting a research on eco-friendly products and pointed me in the direction of paper bags. My motivation is to create a better planet with clean air and water through using natural and recyclable products. The focus of my work is to create long-term solutions that won’t be harmful to the environment.
