Anik joined Archex in 1991 and worked within several departments of the company before she assumed the position of General Manager in 1999. Anik has been promoted as Vice President 2 years later and took the lead as the President in 2008. She is involved with all aspect of the company. Anik has an Administration Masters Degree from U.Q.A.M University and worked as a financial advisor before she joined The Exhibit World.

In 1986, Anik was involve in a specific project for Archex, when they opened their office in Vancouver prior to Expo 86. She has numerous years of expertise and experience in the tradeshow industry and deals on a regular basis with multi-national companies that participate in trade shows both domestically and internationally. Anik has held a position on the National Board of Octanorm Canada for over 5 years. She was also asked to attend an international congress in London, to share her experience on “Exhibiting Abroad”. This event was attended by over 200 members of the exhibit community worldwide.

 

MOTIVATION FOR AND COMMITMENT TO CREATING A BETTER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE PLANET 

As life goes by, I find myself transitioning and maturing with my goals and objectives. There was a time where I was focussing in positioning myself within the business, climbing to a higher position, increasing the bottom line, getting the company recognized on the international… What’s next? I am to a point where I want to make a difference in people’s life. Every year I take a moment to think about my business strategic objectives as well as my personal goals. In 2014, it was the first time that the environment made it to the list. What if I was able to operate my business with my international edge but without damaging the planet and getting Carbon Neutral? With our international expertise, our products are travelling leaving printed carbon on the way, it seems natural for me to give back to the planet what we took from her.

Archex one of the largest exhibit house in Montreal. With over 42 years in the business, our team handles hundreds of design and construction projects annually.
