We're a manufacturer, we recycle all our raw material. We want to work towards eliminating our CO2 emissions from the company completely.

MOTIVATION FOR AND COMMITMENT TO CREATING A BETTER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE PLANET

I'm a very simple person, I don't like complicated. I have 2 boys. I want them to have the possibility to have a better world for them and their children. I love nature, animals and when I see in documentaries what we're doing to our wildlife it crushes me. I want to make a difference. I'm the type of person when I start something..... I finish it.

Nadia Petrolito

Vice President, General Counsel & Chief Communications Officer (CCO), L’Oréal Canada

Nadia Petrolito is Vice President, General Counsel & Chief Communications Officer (CCO) at L’Oréal Canada since 2014. She joined L’Oréal Canada in July 2006 as a Legal Counsel and headed the department as of 2007. In her current role, Ms. Petrolito is in charge of the Legal Affairs and the Corporate Communications departments. She also spearheads the Corporate Social Responsibility Program, Sharing Beauty With All, which is an important priority for L’Oréal Canada as well as for the Group.

Ms. Petrolito is also part of the Group’s worldwide network of 57 Ethics Correspondents whose mandate is to support Country Managers in deploying L’Oréal’s Ethics Program. She is a member of L’Oréal Canada’s Executive Committee, as well as the boards of Look Good Feel Better and Ad Standards Canada. She is a patron of the Centre des femmes and is a strong advocate of all of L’Oréal Canada’s philanthropic initiatives.

Ms. Petrolito holds an Honors degree in Sociology of the University of Western Ontario and a Licence in Civil Law of the University of Ottawa. She was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1997. She started her career in the law offices of Chait Amyot (which became subsequently deGrandpré Chait) and started her in-house legal career at another consumer goods company. She was named TOP 100 Most Powerful Woman in Canada in 2017.
