"We are looking to create a short documentary that follows a grassroots organisation on their mission for equity and creating a better environment. The project will serve to hold powerful and wealthy groups accountable for their role in climate change. It will be an optimistic view of the organisations effort and take a look into what our futures will look like with radical positive environmental change.
I wanted to focus my project on the big money responsible for the consequences of climate change because the onus of improving your behaviour has fallen to an individual level. This makes it easier for the public to blame the most impacted for great environmental damage. Meanwhile, study after study show the devastatingly high impact of powerful and wealthy individuals and groups on the environment."
