PROJECT

“La Canasta de Hoy” (Today's Basket) is a dynamic website for planning home purchases through a calendar of seasonal fruits, vegetables, and fish. It seeks to develop information and tools to help families buy by seasonality to reduce waste of food for consumption.

MOTIVATION FOR AND COMMITMENT TO CREATING A BETTER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE PLANET

Online Shopping and no longer at the market led her to identify that she repeated fruits and vegetables a lot or ordered those that didn't sell or were more expensive than she remembered. In her search for a seasonal fruits and vegetables, she did not find one that would help her improve her purchases. That is why she works to make planning for food purchases easier, to protect our resources, to make more diverse dishes, to generate less waste and more equality in households
